About Us
Haskins Honey is a family-run business based in South Sheffield, tending hives across South Yorkshire and the Derbyshire border.
What began as a fascination with bees soon became much more than a hobby. Today, beekeeping is part of our everyday lives. Throughout the year we're inspecting colonies, caring for our bees, managing our apiaries and harvesting the honey they produce. Every jar of raw honey we sell comes from our own hives.
Our bees always come first. We only harvest surplus honey once they have enough for themselves, and we work with them in a way that supports strong, healthy colonies. Good beekeeping isn't about taking as much honey as possible – it's about looking after the bees that make it.
Every batch is harvested by us, carefully extracted and prepared in our registered 5★ hygiene-rated premises. We keep processing to a minimum so our honey retains the natural flavour, aroma and character created by the flowers our bees have visited.
Because our bees forage across a variety of woodlands, hedgerows, gardens and wildflower-rich landscapes, every harvest is a little different. That's one of the things we love most about real raw honey – no two seasons are ever exactly the same.
We're proud that our honey has received multiple awards, including a 2 Star Great Taste Award 2026, and that we're consistently rated 5★ by our customers for quality, flavour and provenance.
Whether you buy a jar of our award-winning honey, choose one of our honey gifts or visit us at a local market, you can be confident you're buying genuine raw honey from our own hives, produced by the people who care for the bees.
Thank you for supporting our family business.
